It’s probably a good idea to decline gifts from Phil Spector. We’ll kindly accept, however, the yuletide numbers that Ronnie Spector performs tonight from the 1963 album, A Christmas Gift for You From Phil Spector, at her annual holiday fete, Ronnie Spector’s X-Mas Party. Time has been kind to the former Ronettes frontwoman in the 45 years since, preserving her impressively large hair and, more important, the distinct quaver in her voice. Expect both to command the stage as she belts out renditions of “Frosty the Snowman,” “Sleigh Ride,” and the always lovely “Be My Baby.”
