Fancy Food Feeding Unfancy People

by

Chef Eric Ripert has announced that he’ll be donating $1 per Le Benardin diner and per copy of his book, On the Line, to City Harvest. “We are feeding fairly wealthy people here at Le Bernardin. It’s a good
feeling that we can give what we can to City Harvest, too. This is very
important to me,” says Ripert, who estimates that donations will total $100,000.
