US Airways Jet Finally Removed from Hudson River

Late last night city workers finally got that US Airways jet, which had given them some trouble in the afternoon, out of the water. The right engine is apparently more or less intact, but the left engine is off and presumed resting at the bottom of the Hudson River. The Airbus 320, weighing about a million pounds, will be removed via barge for examination by the National Transportation Safety Board. Above is footage obtained by CNN of US Airways Flight 1549 landing on water Thursday, first in real time, then in slow motion.
