Tonight, the founders, Jennifer Dziura and Bobby Blue, bring the competition to Manhattan with the New York City Spelling Bee, featuring the new “Challenge Round,” in which contestants can challenge each other with spelling words. Come prepared: The winning word last season was “tergiversation.” Yikes.
