It isn’t likely that either the Rangers or the Philadelphia Flyers—the nastiest rivalry in the NHL, if not in all of American sports—will catch the division-leading Jersey Devils. But to a Rangers fan, there’s nothing more satisfying than kicking butt on the Flyers, especially after what the Phillies did to the Mets and the Eagles to the Giants this past season. When they played on October 11, New York won 4-3, so a second win would be doubly satisfying. Tickets are available from StubHub, but if you can’t make the Garden, try the Blue Moon Mexican Café (at 75th Street and First Avenue) for hockey the way it should be enjoyed—with seven TVs and great food. The Blue Moon will be serving $2 pint beers and $4 drink specials all afternoon, along with their excellent wings and burritos (“very good and very big”).
