In a genre of reedy vulnerability, Jennifer O’Connor offers astonishing strength—in her unwavering voice and starkly universal lyrics. The Brooklyn singer-songwriter may owe this partially to her past, a horrible catalog of personal loss, but the present seems to fortify her equally: Here With Me, her fourth and most recent album, was buoyant on the quiet awe of new love. Her tour with Americana neighbors Hotel Lights has been a similarly intimate occasion; both perform with an easy grace that earns attention instead of demanding it. They offer a rare, refreshing peace—and tonight, are no doubt glad to be home. With Mascott.
