Few would accuse the National Asian American Theater Company of stereotypical casting. Their company members have played Greeks, Spaniards, Russians, Southerners, and Eugene O’Neill’s immediate family. Now they’re playing several generations of Russian Jews in Karen Hartman’s genealogical drama.
