New York

Asphalt Green, home of the AGUA swim teams, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping all age levels find “sports and fitness for a lifetime” that provides an opportunity for more than 200 swimmers of all skill levels (starting at age eight) to swim competitively. They sent seven swimmers to the 2008 Olympic Trials, and now their eyes are on London 2012. To watch some of the New York area’s best senior-level swimmers (ages 13 and up) in action, catch the Senior Metropolitan Championship at Lehman College’s APEX Building.
