Enigmatic Argentine singer Juana Molina is touring with a band for the first time, all the better to spelunk the velveteen nooks and fungal crannies in the spellbinding acoustic cavern of her latest album, Un Dia. Electropercussionist Lukas Ligeti opens with a solo set on his Marimba Lumina, a synthesizer invented by Robert Buchla. Ligeti, a dazzling synthesist himself, specializes in whipping countless African rhythms into a hyperpsychedelic froth via mallets and samples.
