Little Marvin is one mad dude, but with a heart of gold. In Make Love War, his first solo exhibition, Little Marvin has swathed the Anonymous Gallery in thousands of yards of disco-gold fabric. The idea is that guests are invited “into a parallel universe, one which transmutes terror into wonder, pain into healing, death into life.” Here, everyone is encouraged to help the artist cut out hearts from the fabric and stick them to the gallery walls, floors, and ceilings—clearly a sign of peace. After this month-long multimedia installation and performance piece is over, each heart will continue on an international campaign of W.O.W (War On War). Cutting your heart out for love sounds good to us.
