Despite its overwhelming crowds on the weekends, Chelsea Market feels like a sweet insider secret; its bright Euro-style emporiums are complete sensory overload, featuring the best sourdough bread, pistachio ice cream, and fresh lobster known to man. Now, the gourmet collective is in the—wait for it—market for live music, and Mountains, a spare folk-pop duo from Brooklyn, should translate beautifully in the industrial-chic space. Their ambient new album, Choral (on Thrill Jockey), is delectable, airy, luscious . . . Oh, God, shouldn’t have skipped lunch.
