And here’s the ticket: Bloc Party, a spate of blithe art rockers from Britain, content to riff on Gang of Four while fretting (no pun intended) on breakups and the price of gas. Last year’s Intimacy, their third album, lingered spectrally with heavily processed beats and bookish detachment; it cut like the London everyone’s trying to find.
