Alice Waters’ 60 Minutes appearance left us hungry for more fooderati coverage, which we got in the form of dessert virtuoso Johnny Iuzzini being featured on Nightline‘s Platelist segment Friday night. The pastry hunk says the journey to sweets success began in his childhood when he would come home from school and “pound at least two quarts of milk a day” with his Chips Ahoys. Other highlights include his dehydrated purple foam, his warning to fresh chef school grads that it ain’t all peaches n’ cream in the real culinary world, and his confession that his job has forced him to sacrifice many of his relationships.
