Folk singer and playwright Dan Fishback is making Chanukah sexy. But instead of featuring Semite-on-Semite action in his play You Will Experience Silence, he’s acting out every Jewish mother’s nightmare; “surly queer teenager” Judah Maccabee (Fishback) and his faygelah best friend, Ezra (Max Steele), hook up with a goyisher Greek soldier (Joseph Keckler) they meet in Jerusalem. According to Fishback, “We are going for the title of ‘Most Gay Sex in a Play About Chanukah Ever.'” That shouldn’t be too difficult.

Fridays, Saturdays, 10 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 8 p.m. Starts: April 10. Continues through April 22, 2009
