New Study Says Chicken Soup Is Good for the Heart Too


Wine Tweeter and vlogger Gary Vaynerchuk has signed a seven-figure 10-book deal with HarperStudio. The Belarusian-born wine retailer from New Jersey, who has 145,000 followers on Twitter, admits he doesn’t read books.

A Japanese study suggests that chicken soup may help lower blood pressure. Chicken legs and feet, often discarded as waste products in the US but used as soup ingredients elsewhere, are a source of collagen proteins that can act as ACE inhibitors.

Two new studies show that foods rich in antioxidants, such as green tea, may lose some of their health benefits when stored too long. Antioxidant activity was shown to drop significantly within the first six months of storage.
