Cracked Ice, Or Jewels of the Forbidden Skates

As the founder of Circus Amok, NYC’s subversive traveling troupe, Jennifer Miller is a fixture in the downtown theater world as a gender-bending, politically outspoken juggler. Now, the famed “bearded lady” and Ethyl Eichelberger award recipient is channeling her talents into a full-length production at P.S.122. In Cracked Ice, Or Jewels of the Forbidden Skates, a pair of Miller’s Circus friends, the Liberty Sisters, appear as vengeful jugglers out for justice against an evil Ponzi schemer. (Deb Margolin wrote the text for the Madoff-esque character.) Kenny Mellman provides the tunes to accompany the hilarity.
