Did you see Saturday’s Page Six? It reported that Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway is going to be a presenter at our very own Obie awards for off- and off-off-Broadway on Monday May 18! This is extremely exciting news, and I’ve already gotten over the fact that it will probably get more attention than the fact that I’m hosting the after-event.
ANNE Hathaway, who starred in “The Princess Diaries,” is no princess. Hathaway — who’ll appear this summer in the Shakespeare in the Park production of “Twelfth Night” — agreed to present an award at the 54th annual Village Voice Obie Awards on May 18 at Webster Hall, even though the charity event, to benefit small theaters and emerging talent, isn’t providing the normal Hollywood perks: hair, makeup and limo. Macy’s is sponsoring the after-party, hosted by Michael Musto.
