What’s Happening This Week


As many of you know, our weekly dining and drinking newsletter features all the coolest epicurean events in the city.

This week, we bring you a cheese and beer pairing and food as art.

The Lab Gallery at The Roger Smith Hotel will show “the art of food,’ a live cooking show featuring Chef Daniel Mowles from Lily’s Restaurant next door preparing lunch and dinner for an audience of diners in the store-front gallery everyday until May 1st at 12:30 and 6 pm.

Murray’s Cheese Shop will host a beer and chocolate pairing class. Fritz Knipschildt of Knipschildt Chocolatier will pair his chocolates with Brooklyn Brewmaster Garrett Oliver’s beers.
