Coinciding with the Fifth Avenue Street Fair in Park Slope, the Fourth Annual New York Punk & Underground Record Fair is once again setting up shop inside Southpaw, and the best part is that there’s no overpriced early-bird fee to get at the good stuff first—it’s just $5 all day. Bringing together more than 30 tables of dealers, including such notables as Double Decker Records, Chris Plummer (specializing in 45s from the U.K.), Eat Records, Noiseville, and Bleecker Bob’s, this is expected to be the largest punk record fair on the East Coast. Once
your fingers start to ache because you’ve just flipped through hundreds of records, head outside for the street fair, with food, vendors, and more than a dozen bands and DJs.
