Ed Schrader

One-man Butthole Surfers or human ringtone? Ed Schrader may be the most feral pop star in existence. With a knack for finding perfect earworms, he screeches and chokes out melodies, accompanied only by the pounding of whatever drum he has handy. He’s a master songsmith who has reduced pop and punk to their most basic building blocks. With the eclectic stars of the Baltimore Round Robin: cuddly rapper Height, mash-up vivisectionist DJ Dog Dick, demented beatbox-folkers Santa Dads, the mellow Lesser Gonzalez Alvarez, Creepers, Teenage Souls, Mark Brown, Drew Swinburne and Ana Lola Roman.
