Eat Me Daily was quite taken with Katy Perry’s sushi dress designed by Phillipe and David Blond (aka The Blonds) for her MTV Music Awards performance, but was not impressed with food blogger Pim Techamuanvivit’s “partnership” with Rachel’s yogurt, deeming it a sellout to big food.

Serious Eats got excited about the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck–not just for its position on Prop 8 or its olive oil and sea salt, Nutella, and bacon flavors, but also for its apparel, like the “husband beater” tank top.

The Feedbag previewed Top Chef Masters, mourning (or not?) its three-for-one axing policy, in which three out of four chefs are sent home each episode.

In response to a NY Press piece on why Stumptown Coffee is for suckers, Eater commenters engaged in a lively debate about the brand and its cred.

And, while we listed the food words we love to hate, Epicurious posted the Top 5 Most Annoying Food-Writing Cliches.
