The week started with reports pouring in about last weekend’s not-so-great Great American Food & Music Fest, and a (somewhat defensive) apology from mastermind and Serious Eats founder Ed Levine, who claimed logistical problems for the poor organization of the event.
The Feedbag remembered Four Seasons exec chef Christian Albin, “a beloved figure in the restaurant world [who] … left us in the restaurant’s 50th year, when so much of his work was being celebrated.”
Eat Me Daily asked “Who The Hell is Kelly Choi?” Answer: “She’s a pretty Korean model with a magazine writing degree, a national television gig, and quite possibly a deal with the devil.”
Following several episodes in which police were called on food trucks, Midtown Lunch predicted that new food carts will see a backlash.
