On ‘Cause I Sez So, the New York Dolls’ second album of the 21st century, the reunited band leans towards the melodic glam of their ’70s proto-punk heyday; that’s fine with us, as long as they’re still play “Trash.” The fashionistas-extraordinaire perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

After half a year of intense debate over Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce alter-ego, it feels as if the whole fiasco ended ages ago, when in fact, she’s just begun touring in support of the record. Her Majesty does a second night at Madison Square Garden.

Composer Steve Reich will be at (le) poisson rouge tonight for the Signal Ensemble’s performance of his unreleased, Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet.
