Peter Murphy

Peter Murphy may be the great Ziggy Stardust-like wailer who crooned “In the Flat Field” and “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” for goth-rock gods Bauhaus, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans know the dark indie-pop/world music artist as the writer of the most awesome single “Cuts You Up.” Revamping his solo machine, Murphy is touring for a series of “secret covers” (the first was Lennon’s “Instant Karma”) to be released sequentially, preceded by an even more secretive to-be-announced new album.
