Venezuela’s Los Amigos Invisibles recently released Commercial, their sixth fabulous showcase for rock ‘n’ disco with a pan-Latin flair. They flourish onstage, where their virtual mirrorball glimmers brightest. Colombia’s Aterciopelados, on the other hand, record richly textured albums, such as last year’s eco-delic Rio, that lose most of their subtlety in the flesh.
