Have You Seen… Thief, Sexual Assailant

Police say the man on the left went into Allerton Pawnbrokers on White Plains Road between Allerton and Mace on March 26th; while the storekeeper was out of sight, they suspect, he reached behind the counter and stole a tray of jewelry. He’s thought to be a Hispanic male in his 20s. The drawing on the right is of a man suspected of approaching a 19-year-old Hispanic woman at 9th Avenue and 130th Street in Queens just before 11 p.m. on June 29th, walking her to Powell’s Cove Park, and sexually assaulting her. He is thought to be between 35 and 45 years old, between 5’7″ and 5’9″, and about 250 pounds, and to have multiple tattoos on both arms. He was wearing a dark green/gray t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers at the time of the incident.
