Francois K cedes his decks to Theo Parrish for the full night. Parrish is a master of lo-fi, abstract deep house, but he never forgets his music’s roots in soul and r&b. Prince and the Chi-Lites rub up against his own sound sculptures in his sets, including the shuddering “Dusty Cabinets.” Expect plenty of his “ugly edits”—his heavily EQ’d versions of classic tracks—alongside productions spanning his long career, plus new records from those influenced by this master, including Omar S and Kyle Hall.
