Continuing in the vein of fine outdoor concerts transpiring this weekend (and echoing Mr. Downes’ wizened praise), should you not have plans this evening, allow me to suggest you scoot to Prospect Park for a Celebrate Brooklyn! fete hosted by Los Amigos Invisibles, the finest soft-core pornographic Latin disco-rock band currently extant, a joyous fount of bilingual hedonism who, back in my salad days, enjoyed a great many spins at my college radio station by mere virtue of having a song called “El Disco Anal.” Which is not pronounced how you would assume. “Masturbation Session” is. Leave the kids at home, maybe.
