Taco Bell Enters the Food Truck Fray; Red Mango Adds Bugs to Its Teas & Yogurt


The food truck craze continues, with new trucks popping up regularly in New York and other cities, many serving increasingly gourmet food. But could the end of the trend be near now that Taco Bell has released its own truck?

A vegan advocacy group is pushing for a New Jersey court to order Oscar Mayer, Hebrew National, and other food companies to place warning labels on hot dog packages advising that: “Consuming hot dogs and other processed meats increases the risk of cancer.”

Red Mango will start selling three probiotic-fortified iced teas as of next week. Lemonicity, Mysteaque, and Fanteasia will each be enhanced with a new patented strain of bacteria called GanedenBC30, which will also be added to the frozen yogurts by September.
