Sixties icon and boot-wearer Nancy Sinatra is timelessly relevant to me, but she’s even more so with this remixed version of her hit “Sugartown,” using the clip from her groundbreaking TV special Movin’ With Nancy. Have no idea what the fuck I’m talking about? Well, blithe, blonde Nancy had a succession of charting singles back in the love decade–including a smash duet with dad Frank Sinatra on “Something Stupid”–in between appearing in Elvis movies and hawking Royal Crown cola. She was Paris Hilton but with more talented lineage and less of a shopping addiction. Give this thing a click and be transported by the dreamy, tranquilized loveliness of it all.
