Although Troll 2, released in 1990, was not the recipient of a Razzie Award, it’s still considered by many to be one of the worst movies of all time. To prove our point, note the following: Troll 2 has no relation to the initial Troll installment; no trolls make appearances in Troll 2; director Claudio Fragasso obviously wasn’t too proud of his work since he opted to be credited under the pseudonym Drake Floyd; and let’s not even get into the campy acting, costumes, and storyline. Actor Michael Stephenson, who plays a young boy named Joshua who gets contacted by his dead grandfather in the film, made the documentary Best Worst Movie, which was released this year, based on the making of Troll 2, showing both unintentionally funny and touching insights into this hilariously awful film. After-party and open bar at 11:30, Matchless, 557 Manhattan Avenue, $11 (movie ticket to Troll 2 also gets you in to Friday’s screening of Best Worst Movie)
