All Tomorrows Parties have announced the final lineup tweaks to ATP New York 2009, and buried amidst news of the addition of Black Moth Super Rainbow, Birds Of Avalon, Menomena, and Hopewell to the bill is the fact that not only will No Age be doing a set’s worth of Husker Du songs, but they’ll be joined by the man himself, Bob Mould, throughout. It won’t be the first time: the two acts performed together at Noise Pop 2009, doing “New Day Rising,” no less, and speculation about No Age’s “special guest” had pointed strongly towards Mould before ATP finally confirmed it today. The final reveal will be whenever the trio gets around to telling us which Husker Du LP they’ll revisit–our money’s on New Day Rising, although by all means guys, have a go at Zen Arcade. We won’t be mad. Full details and other good stuff, including the revelation that Boris will be doing their titanic Feedbacker LP on Sunday, over at ATP.
