Though we are constantly told that crime is at an all-time low, the neighborhood police blotters show that there is still enough street crime to be worrisome. Now we hear that Eduardo Sanchez, a 22-year-old student of architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, was beaten into a coma and robbed at the corner of Lexington and Grand Avenues around 10 p.m. last Tuesday night. He remains in serious condition at Kings County Hospital. After robbing Sanchez, the five suspects took his ATM card and tried to use it at a nearby store, where these surveillance images was recorded. If you have information as to these men or this incident, NYPD asks you to contact 1-800-577-TIPS(8477), www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577.
