Mew have come down to earth—and they’re even more transfixing for it. The psych-rockin’ Danes gave Sigur Rós a run for their icicle-encrusted money with the complex, formative knots and codas of 2006’s much-lauded And the Glass Handed Kites, and they distilled their keening extrapolations into step-lively dancepop for this year’s No More Stories. They’re still impenetrable and unpredictable, and you won’t find anything more stimulating to your mind and your feet this week.
