Frank Timm is a producer’s producer; peers from Villalobos to Anthony Shakir to Matthew Herbert have hired him as a remixer. One of the stars to rise form Berlin’s Hard Wax record store and label in the ’90s, Timm is probably best known for his work with Errorsmith as Smith ‘n’ Hack, but his solo work—loopy cut up techno as Soundhack, discoded house as Soundstream—is just as rewarding. Tonight finds him delivering a live set as Soundstream. With Justin Carter, Eamon Harkin, and DJ Probus.
