Dir. Edmond T.Greville (1948).
American reporter working in London, Carole Landis, wages a campaign against a black market racketeer, putting her life in danger, in Greville’s crisp, punchy and expertly directed “spiv” thriller. This was one of the beautiful American actress’s last two films—both made in England—before she committed suicide at age 29, the year the picture was released.
