Peeping Tom

by

Dir. Michael Powell (1960).
A film-theorist cult favorite, Michael Powell’s disturbing career-ender is a post-Psycho thriller that offers one of the creepiest scenarios imaginable on the subject of photo-fetishism and scopophilia. It’s never been bettered although Brian DePalma remade the movie quite credibly after his fashion with Raising Cain.
