The Coming Cupcake Crash?


Cupcake cranks, rejoice! Slate‘s Daniel Gross has penned a delightful ditty on what he terms the coming “cupcake crash.” The glut of cupcake bakeries, to very loosely paraphrase Gross’ argument, has formed a cupcake bubble, and, like anyone in the housing market can attest, all bubbles must eventually burst. Or, as Gross writes, “remember what always happens after a sugar rush: a crash.”
