FBI, Homeland Security Warn Cops After Queens Terror Raids

Though Chuck Schumer insists the Monday federal raids on three Queens homes suspected of involvement in terrorist activities were “preventative” and that there is “no imminent threat,” the FBI and Homeland Security are warning police departments to be on the lookout for explosive materials, and for indications of people handling same, “such as people with burn marks on their hands, face or arms.” The early-morning Queens apartment raids were said to be motivated by a recent New York visit by a terror suspect, but came up empty-handed. The raiders were assisted by New York City cops.
