Turkish Pastries Come to Midtown


Earlier this summer, the announcement that the Turkish pastry company Gulluoglu would be opening a Manhattan store gave Midtown baklava enthusiasts a new reason to come to work every day. Today, Midtown Lunch provides a glimpse of the new bakery, which opened its doors last weeks at 52nd Street and Second Avenue. Gulluoglu’s Coney Island Avenue outpost opened back in 2005; if ML’s photos are any indication, the baklava is just as mouthwatering here as it is in Brooklyn.
