Folks at two Brooklyn housing projects are looking for a little peace of mind, and that’s what they’ll hopefully be getting — courtesy of new closed circuit cameras.

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Senator Chuck Schumer have made the announcement that $400-thousand has been included in an appropriations bill that will pay for cameras at the Brownsville and Tilden developments.

Both complexes have been targeted by law enforcement as part of an “Impact Zone” set up to help reduce criminal activity. The cameras will be put in high-crime areas: lobbies, elevators, playgrounds, parking lots — you get the picture.

Hey, see what we did there?
