Dir. Leos Carax (1991).
Also known as Les Amants Du Pont-Neuf, this grande folie was the most expensive movie ever made in France—its production involved a scale model of the eponymous bridge over the Seine and the extravagance derailed the Carax career. The beautifully smudged, one-eyed vagabond star is his then muse, Juliette Binoche.
