To the left is the newly revealed cover art for Acrylics‘ five-song debut on Chris Taylor’s just launched Terrible Records. There’s also a teaser–EP title track “All of the Fire,” which is even more shiny and blowsy and languid than we would’ve predicted from the band’s ubiquitous live sets. Our guess is that they’re with these guys when it comes to Brooklyn lo-fi. Anyway, the band plays Mercury Lounge on Saturday with Besnard Lakes, and then will wade into the swiftly oncoming morass that is CMJ before finally releasing All of the Fire on October 28th.
