Hill Country to Open a Fried Chicken Restaurant


Per the Feedbag, the owner of Hill Country is fixing to open a 2,700-square-foot fried chicken restaurant at the corner of 25th and Broadway. The place is slated to open sometime in the spring, and will focus on two kinds of fried chicken made according to recipes from the families of Elizabeth Karmel and Marc Glosserman, Hill Country’s executive chef and owner, respectively. Also expect pies, homemade ice cream, and biscuits, as well as the designation of fried chicken as 2010’s successor to the Great Neapolitan Pizza Hysteria of 2009.
