The TV life of Ugly Betty is the greatest Cinderella story ever told: An unattractive, though intelligent, go-getter climbs the ranks from a virtual nobody at a fashion magazine to a very much desired editor and heartbreaker. No wonder the show is so adored by millions of fashionistas. Tonight, the cast will be discussing the in’s and out’s of this trendsetting comedy series with the show’s most stylish residents, including America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams, Michael Urie, Becki Newton, and the style goddess/costume designer Patricia Field. And there will be plenty to discuss—such as their relocation from the West Coast back to New York (which returned Field’s expertise to the show); what makes Betty’s mismatched flea-market attire so fabulous; and the mystery surrounding the death of the Anna Wintour–inspired character, Fey Sommers. Horacio Silva, online editor of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, moderates.
