Pizza A Casa’s Mark Bello to Open Shop on Grand Street

The same Grand Street strip mall that was once home to Isabella’s Oven is getting a new pizza place, of sorts: per the Lo-Down, Mark Bello, the proprietor of Pizza a Casa, a pizza catering and cooking class company, will open a shop geared towards pie-obsessed home cooks. Bello is currently giving pizza classes at Alleva Dairy; one imagines that he’ll find a receptive audience among the Co-op Village residents who have been awaiting the arrival of more food options in the strip mall, which is owned by the Seward Park Co-ops.
