ATP has quietly become a major force in getting bands of a particular indie vintage to reunite–Slint and My Bloody Valentine being two major examples, though one suspects that the lurking hand of Barry Hogan is in some way behind most big reunions these days. So no surprise that Pavement’s four Central Park reunion shows will be preceded by a stop at an All Tomorrow’s Parties UK weekender in May of next year. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, 10 a.m., UK time. The band’s also curating–a good look, since we’d rank Pavement’s taste a few notches higher than their actual musicianship. (Which we rate high as well, haters.) Anyway, more festival dates TK, to be sure. Only 11 more months to go!
