At the Rachael Ray-hosted Burger Bash, Josh Capon of Lure snagged the People’s Choice Award for his Lure Burger, which came with American cheese and a side of salt and vinegar chips. The Spotted Pig, Minetta Tavern, and Fatty Crab were among the competitors.

The occupation that has the most smokers is food service, according to a recent survey, second only to construction workers and miners. More than 28 percent of full-time employees in the U.S. smoke, compared to almost 45 percent of food-service workers.

Jamie Oliver is seeking $22 million from private investors to help fund 30 new locations of his Italian restaurants across Asia. The first are set to open in Hong Kong and Singapore, while others may be in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, and Malaysia.
