No Age

Los Angeles sweatbomb No Age have been focusing on the “art” side of the “art-punk” equation for the better part of the year, redefining their sound with textural, mellow, white snugglenoise on the Losing Feeling EP. As part of the New Museum’s “Get Weird” series, they created an original score for 1989’s adventurous, mostly dialogue-free film The Bear, a story of an orphaned grizzly bear cub defending himself against a pack of Canadian hunters. If No Age’s cuddly, heart-warming, spacious new direction is any indication, it should be a perfect match.
