‘Que Bajo?’

A tour of the U.S. and Colombia(!) seems to have drawn the Que Bajo? gang solidly back to its Afro-Latin roots. This month, they’re celebrating cumbia label Bersa Discos’ latest EP. Disco Shawn is the San Francisco label’s founder. Sabo is one of Bersa’s New York signings (along with Toy Selectah and Uproot Andy) and the Sol Selectas boss. Some dancehall, hip hop, and dub should round out the cumbia. With residents Uproot Andy and Geko Jones.
